Who Am I?

It is important to pass down family history so memories don't get lost. A way to pass down family history is to tell the future generation in a family stories of the past and to show them photos. My parents have many photo albums that can already pass a lot of history. My family don't really have many traditions but we do go to Mexico at least once a year and normally more and we also do things like go to a San Diego Aztecs game every year. In the future, I wanna be remembered as a successful person, I want a successful career as an engineer. I don't now much about my family history since it was a long time ago that they came to the US but I think that if I asked my Nana I could find out a bit because she has a lot of family things from the past in a box like a family tree and also some paper that was given to somebody who served for the county in a big war. I know that some of my family comes from Irish, German, and Dutch decent but I also think that there a lot more places that my family comes from. I have lived in the US my whole life and I've also lived in the same city I have my whole life, Oceanside, California. If I were to interview a family member about family history I think that I would interview my Nana because I think that she knows a lot. 3 questions that stand out that I would ask her are: "Do you know the origins of our family and where they lived?", "What family stories have you heard about your parents, grandparents, and distant relatives?", and "What traits do you think are common in our family?" I wish to find out these things so that I can learn more about my family history because it's something that I haven't ever learned much about.
